Re-Admission Rules

Re-admission of a student is done as per rules and regulations of the University of Delhi and as framed by the Staff Council of the College.

Identity Card

Every student is issued an Identity Card by the college immediately after admission. He/She is expected to carry his/her identity card with him/her at all times. She/he will have to produce the same whenever required to do so by any member of the College staff in the college premises or outside or when he/she visits the college office for payment of fees or for any other purpose or when he/she goes to the College Library. If the identity card is lost, a fee of Rs. 50/- will be charged for issuing a duplicate card.
College Timings : 2 p.m. onwards.

Internal Assessment

25% of marks in each paper shall be reserved for lnternal Assessment as per rules of University of Delhi. The Internal Assessment shall be based on tutorial work, class presentations, quizzes, written assignment, project work and class test.Internal assessment marks shall be added to the annual examination marks for determining the division of the students.

Attendance Regulations

Every student must complete at least, two-thirds attendance of the total lectures/practicals held during the academic year to be eligible to take up the University Examination. Students are governed by the rules and regulations laid down by the University in its Ordinance VII.
Parents/guardians are expected to know the status of attendance of their ward. Attendance of the students for each month is notified on the college notice board/college website.

University Examination

University of Delhi holds Examination/s for different courses for the final assessment of the students at the end of each semester.

Note

No person shall be deemed to have satisfied the required conditions unless in addition to requirements regarding attendance and other conditions, he/she has appeared and satisfied the college authorities by his/her performance in the test conducted in the College. ln case a student?s performance is not deemed satisfactory, the College reserves the right to detain such a student and not send him for the University Examination.

Change of Subject/Transfer from One Course to Another

  • No change of subject will be allowed without the prior permission of the Teacher In-Charge of Department concerned and subsequent approval by the Principal. This permission should be obtained in writing no later than the date specified by the University.
  • Transfer from one course to another is generally not permitted. However, if a seat falls vacant in a course, a student who has already joined the College for some other course may be considered for transfer, provided he/she has applied for the course and has the same academic merit as the last candidate admitted to that course through open competition.

Migration

It is governed bythe rules and regulations as laid down by the University of Delhi in this regard.
