National Service Scheme Committee (NSS)

The English Department of the college has been at the forefront of academics and co curricular activities in the college. We have produced excellent results consistently.

NSS Unit is comprised of a strong and dedicated workforce of 7 Leaders and about 300 volunteers behind success of all these events throughout this academic year.

Blood Donation Camp

On 27th September, 2014volunteers made blood donations at blood donation camp held at ShaheedBhagat Singh Morning College.Volunteers also participated in the event and made blood donations at blood donation camp 'Voluntary Blood Donation Day' on 1st October, 2014at JawaharLal Nehru Stadium.

'Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan

On 2nd October, 2014volunteers along with other students, faculty and staff actively contributed their efforts in cleaning of College and took pledge for 'Clean India'.

'Women Safety - Awareness and Problems' on 29th October, 2014

One Day Event on the theme 'Women Safety - Awareness and Problems' was organized byb the volunteers on 29th October, 2014 where professional trainers of Delhi Policetaught self-defence skills to girl students. There was a thought provoking performance covering diverse aspects of women safety by prominent Theatre Group 'Ashmita' left the audience awe-struck.Also, the volunteers showcased 'NARI SHAKTI' (Women Power) through Art, Slogans and Posters.

Scholarship Programme

On 25th January, 2015 volunteers contributed their efforts generously in Scholarship Programme for needy students in Government Schoolswhich was run by NavPallav - an NGO at West SantNagar.
