In this academic year total 300 students enrolled as NSS volunteer. 12 Leaders and 12 assistant leaders were selected to lead the NSS team

NSS Day Celebration

Activities of NSS began with orientation programme followed by a number of events.

  • Slogan Writing Competition on the topic Cleanliness and Dengue Awareness
  • Street play competition on the topic Cleanliness to encourage people towards cleanliness. Teams of ApurvKashyap, Mehak and Pooja Gupta performed excellently in this event.
  • Tree Plantation and Clean Campus Drive was organized by NSS volunteers inside the college premises.
  • Cleanliness and Dengue Awareness Rally inside the college premises and also in the societies near the college. The really was effective and also the message of cleanliness was clear among the residents of the nearby localities. Around 250 volunteers took part in the rally covering a distance of approx 3 kms.

Ladli foundation

Volunteers of our college participated as the core member of the event All Religion Mass Marriages event of 51 poor Girls was organised on 29th  November  2016  at Chhatarpur Temple, New Delhi.

 

Youth convention 2016.

23 volunteers took part in a youth convention organized by Ramakrishna mission, New on January 30, 2016 to empower the youths in taking crucial decisions.

Antarchakshu , Gurgaon

Volunteers from NSS unit participated and coordinated as the core team member in the event Antarchaksu,conceptualised and organised by the Xavier’s Resource Centre for the Visually Challenged (XRCVC), St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Mumbai. It was organised in gurgaon from 24thfeb to 26thfeb 2016.

Save The Children  (Ngo)

is India’s leading independent child rights organization which is working in 20 states to make a difference in the lives of the most socially-excluded children of India. An event was organized by Save the Children on 29th march 2016 at Indian Habitat Centre, New delhi. Sandeep jaiswal – NSS leader of the college participated in the event of save the children in which the study of children of five cities of India – Patna, Kolkata. Hyderabad, Lucknow and Mughalsarai were discussed and some line ups were made for nourishing these children.
