The dramatics society of ShaheedBhagat Singh (evening) College - 'Sangharsh' is a platform for the students to indulge into theatrical activities - both stage and street play.
The year started with workshop for the first year students followed by auditions.
In the year 2014-15, they started their journey from IIT Kanpur in October 2014 with a bang by winning second prize. They performed two stage plays - Ilhaam (Hindi) and With Friends like These (English) and a street play-TuHaar Na Maan.

Sahitya Kala Parishad is a natyamahotsav organised by Sahitya Kala Parishad, Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Its aim is to promote theatre at college level. This year our Hindi Stage Play team was amongst the top 9 teams from Delhi University shortlisted by them andon 27th January 2015 performed at Sri Ram Centre, Mandi House. Various big theatre artists and bollywood actors were present at this festival.
Is the Annual Theatre Festival under which Inter College Street Play Competition was hosted for the third consecutive year by our college on 10th March 2015. The street play competition was judged by the known personality V.K. Sharma. All teams participated with a lot of enthusiasm and projected various issues of our society. This year Inter college competition was initiated wherein Five teams were shortlisted out of Eighteen Teams from Delhi University in the Prelims round held at Muktdhara Auditorium on 1st March,2015. The finals were held on 11th March 2015 at Muktdhara Auditorium, judged by eminent personalities of theatre V.K. Sharma and Director Ravi Taneja following teams were declared the winners:
1st prize won by Gargi College with cash prize of Rs 6000
2nd ---- College of Business Studies---- cash prize of Rs 4000
1st Best Actor award was won by Deepak Verma from SGTB Khalsa with cash prize of Rs 1500.
2nd Best Actor award was won by Hitesh Khanna from College of Business Studies with cash prize of Rs 1500.
GOONJ 15 was a huge success and appreciated by all.
Ateliers Campus Theatre (ACT) is the festival focusing on the theatre practices in the campus of Delhi University with Kuljeet Singh as the curator. It is instrumental in creating a major platform of young enthusiasts to interact with the professionals in the field of theatre. This year ACT Fest was performed from March 14th to march 21st 2015. The selected street theatre teams performed in different venues of different universities in Delhi and NCR.
PritamJaiswal, student of our society worked in television show 'NanhaMasiha' on D.D National. ShraddhaIyer got offer from 'Balaji Telefilms' and Channel V.
The students of Dramatics society made a short film 'LAANGRI' and is there on YouTube.
Naman Gupta, a member of the society has worked with Old Delhi Films in a short film on Women Empowerment named as "ApniLadai"

The Sangharsh team of SBSEC performed its street play atVenkateshwar global school on 19th March, 2015.
The high point of the achievement of the theatre society is when the society showcases its Productions for teachers and family in the annual festival Muqaam which was staged on 22nd April 2015 at The Little Theatre Group Auditorium. The Sangharsh team presented two stage plays -'Ilhaam' and 'With friends like these' along with a street play 'Tuhaarnamaan' and an uncompetitive production "EkDaurTha".
The event was inaugurated by our Principal Dr. P. K. Khurana. The students of 3rd year Sangharsh team presented the principal with a momento. The event was attended by the staff, students and parents of the participants. It was thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated by all.
SANGHARSH the theatre society of SBSEC has been declared as the best college society in DU fests for the stage play category by the DU beat, an independent student newspaper (published on 13th April, 2015)
The Annual Theatre Production, English Play. With Friends Like These, is going to perform at National Centre of Performing Arts, Mumbai on 28th June, 2015.
