Shaheed Bhagat Singh College was one of the very first Colleges in the University of Delhi to enrol under the National Cadet Corps in Delhi Directorate.

The first feather was added to the cap when Brig Neeraj Sharma was commissioned in the Indian Army from Officers Training Academy, Chennai in 1991 and since then 1SBS coy has never looked back.

With its motto of ‘Unity and Discipline’ 1 SBS coy has given many officers to the Indian Army, Paramilitary and other forces.
