Debating Society-Nuke
NUKE is the bilingual Debating society of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College, University of Delhi.It is one of the fastest growing societies of the Delhi University Debating Circuit,established in 2012 under the name Power of Words’ which was renamed to NUKE in 2014.NUKE values stand firm on the pillars of Freedom of Speech and Expression. Having proven their mettle in debating circuits across the country with lots of victory under its belt, NUKE aims to maintain its legacy while moving ahead.At Nuke, we believe that greater change in mind-sets occurs through smaller, collective dialogue and discussion.
We aim to enhance the thought process of individuals to accept greater possibilities, to be able to look at both sides of the coin while considering the in-depth, bigger picture of things.To provide a platform for constructive discussions aimed at cutting down the social, cultural, philosophical, environmental economical and other challenges, to find practical solutions to them and bringing them to practice at grass root level through the knowledge sharing network of specialized institutes.
