The Department of History enhanced by competent and dedicated faculty and always tries to engage students with discipline in diverse ways. An effort is made to engage students with various perspectives on different historical notions and to critically empower them to analyse those perspectives. The Department under the supervision and guidance of faculty members organized various academic activities during the every session. Each and every faculty member of the department is expert in different areas of research within the history discipline (Ancient, Medieval, Modern and World) which provides diverse knowledge to the students. History society was reorganized under the name “Yugabd” and a History Association Committee was formed consisting of a 10 members core team (President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer and five Executive members).
